I rearched my original springs on my 69 Z/28, and have been very happy with the job quality ride height etc and it has been three years. I recently bought a 69 Convertible which has saggy springs and I am going to replace them soon. I can buy brand new Eaton Springs made by Detroit Spring, Inc, pick them up locally at NPD. The cost for the new springs with tax is $286 the cost for rearching the original springs with the clamp kit is $272 with tax. I really like to restore and reuse the original parts but in this situation I am leaning towards the new springs. Has anyone had any experience with these Eaton Springs made by Detroit Spring, Inc.? Give me your thoughts too...
Thanks,
Lawrence
