Only used on Muncie 4-speed cars (pass. side speedo connection).

Even though it's not Perfect, it is much better than the "off the shelf" version.

Ok, got the ones from classic muscle.  I am sure I can make them work, but they look just like the "typical repro" above, so not really a match, but at least can be made functional.

Are the HBC ones any better?

No, they appear to have a little more of an arc, however it looks as though they came from the same die as the forms of the lip on the end are the same along with the other details.

Here is a quick sketched and dimensioned Oblique, well sorta... my mechanical drawing skills leave much to be desired...  .

Much to be desired or not, still quite helpful, especially considering I don't have even one original to use as a model.

None of the photos above show the correct (uninstalled) configuration of the "legs" of the clip. Photo below shows a similar type of clip, used on '63-'67 Corvette "eyebrow pads" on the instrument panel; you squeezed the "wings" on the clip together with needlenose pliers, and that expanded the "legs" behind the hole, retaining the clip. Once the clip is installed and then the wings are "un-bent" to be removed, most of that feature is lost.
