Researching 69 Camero guy says it is a Z28 but on the cowl,  not showing it to be an x code just blank where it should be.   In addition the date code is LOB not finding any info on that, >:( am I ........ or is there some wrong with this picture.

Bob,
 Your looking in the right place. Only cars built in Norwood Ohio after the start of the year 1969 used the X code system. That might be 10B (second week of the 10th  month (Oct) build). Take some time reading all the sections on the home page. all this is much better explained there. Almost all  of your questions can be answered there, and then some. I believe X codes started around 12B. There are places on the site where you can check the vin to find what month it lines up with.
