Mark, I don't have any photos of that particular Alfa.  Most of my stuff consists of the over two liter races, which were separate in 1970.  In addition to the two web sites given by Chuckman4112 and Oldtimer I would suggest going through all the photos at the following sites on Facebook.  If you don't see anything you might join them and ask.  You never know what someone might have.

Thank you for all the information about Charlie Thieriot as he and my brother, John, both belonged to the Alfa Romero Owner's Club of Southern California.  Although I never met Charlie, he seemed to be quite a character as he once bought a 1967 Ferrari 275/GTB4 back in the 1970s (when they were somewhat affordable) and joined the local Ferrari club.  When Charlie found that the club members were not as friendly as those in the Alfa club, Charlie took his GTA to a track event at Riverside and had the 3rd fastest time, which didn't go well with the other Ferrari owners.  My brother was at the Trans Am race at Riverside with Charlie and also saw Parnelli Jones win the last 1970 race of the season. - Mark

I was surprised when someone brought an Alfa Romero GTA to our monthly Cars & Coffee and I didn't have my camera with me to take some photos.  First GTA I've even seen in person.

Another piece of the puzzle falls into place.  Until now I didn't know that a 1969 Camaro RS/SS Z11 convertible was used as the pace car for the 3rd Annual Kent 300 Trans-American event held at Seattle International Raceway in Kent, Washington on Sunday, September 7, 1969.  This was the 10th round of the championship and Ronnie Bucknum won the event in his 1969 Camaro Z28 fielded by Roger Penske.

Notice that the lettering on the door has been altered to display the information for this particular event.  I believe that underneath the "OFFICIAL PACE CAR" in orange lettering it states "3rd Annual Trans-Am Kent" and "September 7, 1969".

I just located this photo that shows the 1971 Porsche 914/6 that was used as the pace car for the Trans Am Two-Five Challenge event held at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 18, 1971.  You can see it in pit lane as the field goes by.

The same seller on ebay also had this photo showing the purple 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible that was used to pace the Trans Am race at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Sunday, July 19, 1970.  You can see it in pit lane as the field flies by.

A green 1972 Porsche 911 Targa was used as the pace car for the Ron & Eve White Memorial Sedan Race for Trans Am type cars held on August 13, 1972 at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. 

In a post about this "non-championship Trans-Am race," Jon Mello stated, "8/13/72, which had been the date of a scheduled Mosport T/A race until it was canceled along with the rest of the series that year (due to George Follmer dominating the '72 Trans-Am series in his Roy Woods Javelin). The race was run instead as a memorial to a well-known Ontario (Canada) couple who had been very involved with motorsports until they died in a plane crash in 1971.
