A bit outside the topic window concerning first generation Camaros perhaps, but quite on topic concerning the 1966-1972 SCCA Trans Am focus of those so inclined.  

The Unexpected Pony Car Site - the finest Ford Mustang vintage SCCA Trans Am website out there, based in Germany - a huge resource.  Where it is the 'rival' enthusiasts come to know about discoveries concerning their scene.  See:

The BOSS 302 Registry Trans Am Racing - stellar knowledge on display and on call concerning all things Trans Am Mustang.  Overlap concerning other makes, various factory and independent efforts - hence little to ignore.  See:

Great recommendations, Mike. Thank you for posting them. Speaking of Mustangs, Walt Boeninger
has a nice website at http://www.shelbytransam.com/walt/ShelbyTA/index.htm . Some interesting
things there if you take the time to go through the various photos and links, and he's done a nice
job of documenting the history of his car.

Another website, this a commercial photo image service.  Expect to wrestle with the interface, ignore 'O results returned', click on 'view Editorial images' to turn up results that are often atypical and surprising.  Deliberate application here will net a neat return on investment.  Type in teams, team owner names, drivers, venues, series identification, and mark off those search terms you've tried each in turn.  See:

A bit of a work in progress when this was posted, but a fine effort and splendid presentation.  The rudiments of a SCCA Trans Am Javelin webpage tied specifically into the 100 Trans Am replicas (mostly paint) that predated the Mark Donohue Javelin proper.  Sure to develop, hence not bad at all to bookmark.  See:

Not a website but it does have clip of Dick Guldstrand tearing up his vette.Great film for you road racing guys.I have a DVD I made of a film I purchased of 1969 footage maybe 5 minutes of Trans Am racing.As soon as I find someone who can download it to youtube I'll post it.

Sports Car Magazine (SCCA publication) from 1944-1970 has been digitized and is completely searchable through optical character recognition (OCR).

This was done under a licensing agreement with SCCA.
