Thanks for being honest. As I mentioned before, it will be a while before my wife and I can make a trip to your neck of the woods for a AACA event. However, it is nice to know we won't need to spend 60 to 90k to be respectable. I had posed a question similar to this at my AACA/ISCA thread and you were very helpful then. You mentioned the main thing judges are looking for is Condition and Cleanliness, with deductions for after market gadgets or parts. I think we're one leg up in that category.
I would eventually like to give the National Certification a shot and I also think AACA would be great place to start. There is no question in my mind there will be plenty of qualified Camaro experts at this show who can give good sound advise. My frustration is that there is no one here in New Mexico that knows blank about these cars. In fact, even though my car did very well at the SW Muscle Car Nationals...it was a 69 DY Z that took best of show. Sad thing is that this car had many things wrong with it that I could see. I could only imagine what members here would have done to the car.
