Thanks, Mike. 1970 is the last year Steve raced the car before selling it.

I was sorry to hear of Tony's passing. My condolences to his family. The Camaro photo would seem to be from 1973 or later with the wheels being that wide.

These 2 cars are the 67 ex Mo Carter camaro, which I then drove, and the Paul (Dave) Lawler 68 camaro.
Paul joined the Al Richards team starting in 70 for only that season. Not sure if the ramp truck was Al's, or
borrowed from his stock car friends.

This pic is at Mosport, maybe a club race, or a Canadian Touring Car Championship race in 70. Don't know the
exact date.

It is believed that the #3 Owens-Corning Camaro formerly driven by Tony DeLorenzo went to David "Tuck" Thomas for the 1971 season. Here is a picture of the car taken in 1971 at the Donnybrooke race track in Minnesota.

The Tuck Thomas Camaro changed to a red & yellow color scheme for 1972, it is believed.  Here is the car going up the main straight at Road America.

Here's a clearer shot showing the revised livery. Trans-Am cars had to have the bumpers installed so this photo may have been taken prior to an A/Sedan race.

Here we have some very nice photos courtesy of Gene Fisher who took these at the 1970 Watkins Glen Trans-Am.
Many thanks to Gene for sharing these with us.

Jerry Thompson's Owens-Corning Camaro lined up on the false grid.

Cars on the false grid for morning warm up. Dean Gregson's #28, Larry Drover's #11 and Warren Tope's #70 the most apparent of the bunch.

Jon, I've really enjoyed looking at the pictures and information so a huge thanks for keeping this going and everyone that has assisted. This is quite a collection so again thanks to everyone involved.
Two questions: One of the cars has Laurel Racing written on the deck lid area. Do you know where they hailed from? Mark Donahue's son Michael, did he ever follow in any type of car endeavors?

You're welcome, Chick. I'm glad that you have enjoyed what has been posted here.

As Mike pointed out, the Laurel Racing team was from South Bend, Indiana.

Mark Donohue's son Michael did not follow in his dad's racing footsteps but his other son David has done so and is a very talented and competitive driver.

Myself, Dick Young, and Francois Guertin only got to start the race because 3 guys blew their engines in the late morning warm-up.
and we were added to the grid  I think I was the 2nd alternate.  Only 30 cars qualified and the promoter could add 3 more.  I remember
that one racer had loaded up and gone home before this happened who could have started

The engine in our 67 had been overheated in the paddock at the Bryar race previously, so Al had to fix it or build another one.
I had qualified at Bryar but was dns.

The Glen was high speed and you needed some big HP. During that 70 race it rained for some time in the middle of the race,
but I managed without rain tires

At one time I had a racing tape of that race, produced by someone who did many races in those days, but I can't think
of his name right now.  My tape has been lost.
