Does anyone know why the mounting holes are offset in a big block crossmember? I am changing from 6 cyl to big block, and I can't see any reason to swap out crossmember.

Wow, that pretty much clears that up. I do have a driveline vibration and I hope this is the source of the problem. Thanks
