1968 A.I.M.

Before purchasing an A.I.M. for my 1968 coupe, I'd like to know if there is more than one publisher and if so which one is best from a quality and readability point of view.
I understand that some pages may be light and difficult to read. I'm particularly interested in the A.I.R. (smog) system for my L6 engine, so can anyone with a 1968 A.I.M. tell me if that section is of good quality? Thank you. Joe.

When you buy a 68 AIM make sure it has a binder and not loose pages put in a binder. I have a 67 AIM I bought from Eckler's and it is has loose pages stuck in a binder,and quality is fair. Have 68 and 69 AIM with binder,I bought from Rick's and has good quality printing. The paper is also different in the Eckler's reprint. I think they are making a reprint of a reprint, which may account for the poor quality.
The 68 AIM  section UPC 6 has all the info you need and the printing is of good quality.

Actually, they are all copies.  But that's a good point about the versions that are reprints of reprints.  The suppliers like Rick's, Classic, etc. are all getting them from some publisher.  What we need to do is compare the publishers that are reprinting them.  So, to get that started, my 68 AIM is from Millenium Industries and it has worked fine for me.  There is a "disclaimer" in the front that states the light pages in their version were light in the original.  All the pages in UPC 6 are of good quality as Big Iron states above.

I bought mine ['68] so long ago now, I can't remember where I got it. There's nothing printed in it to indicate who the publisher was.
It's a glued spine paperback style. Quality is generally good with all the detail legible, though with many minor dropouts in the print.
One bad spot is upc 12 A6. The page header and revisions box are almost non-existent!
