Is the stand on the PS supposed to be natural or painted orange like the DS?

To my understanding everything on the engine was Orange. It was painted as a completed unit.

The "magic decoder ring" for engine parts is the Assembly Manual; if the part in question shows in the Assembly Manual with a part number, it was installed at the assembly plant and will not be orange. If there's no part number in the A.I.M. and it was part of the engine assembly as shipped from the engine plant, it was painted orange (except exhaust manifolds, which were installed after engine painting, and aluminum valve covers and intake manifolds, which were masked off).

Orange it is then!  AIM says its part of the engine but no part number.

Yup - two photos below of my original.

John - I noticed you have spark plug wire separators above and below your tower. Is this the case for all SB's? And, is it safe to assume the same holds true for the passenger side?

Nope - long-time habit of mine, to keep #5 and #7 separated. The correct 3-wire retainer/separators are shown in the A.I.M. in UPC 6, sheet B9, item #17.

I have been recently researching the correct spark plug wire LH rear SUPPORT for my 70 Camaro SS350 long term project and found that most 1970 Camaro models were issued the support (marked "#5" with the oval hole) on the far right on my photo below. The support (2nd from the right marked "1970" and "#4" with the round hole) is identical to one on an original 70 Z28 w/1,100 miles.

I believe the one marked "#3" is for a 69 Z28.
