Finally Back to Royal Plum

Congrats and thanks for getting the Forum back up. Just wanted to post a quick pic, our baby is finally back to all of it's original Royal Plum Glory....

Thanks.... That is a strange color....almost looks black at night, and as you correctly point out, differs quite a bit between sun and shade

My MM is the same way, color varies greatly with lighting. As do many colors.

It's a basic color, although i did go with my head instead of my heart and use base/clear

MM is metallic, not solid. PPG 50717. Paints can have either metallics and/or pearls in them. Looking at the formula determines which or both. I've been mixing and spraying paint for twenty years. "Basic" is vague terminology. The most basic being a tint pulled from the machine and used straight with no other tints added to it.
