For my education, this seems like a nothing car. Why would anyone pay for the tags and vin.

1. Cannot title a car they currently own.
2. X44 is the popular code for the Yenko/COPO cars.

Am I correct?

Its illegal and should be banned and prosecuted period. At least the number can now be tracked in the future and the truth told. The problem with this one is it is actually a car for sale or it is advertised as such anyway. On the Mopar side there are registries were these can of issues are tracked and available upon request. I'm not sure about the Chevy side of things yet. My question was simple to verify my thoughts.
