I'm restoring my 68 deluxe interior.  I'm missing the backing plates for the deluxe seatback emblems.  Can't find them in any catalogs.  Does anyone know where I can obtain new or used ones?  Does anyone have a drawing/sketch with dimensions so I can make some myself?  Made some flat backing plates, but they don't recess the emblems properly.

I am in the same boat.  On Team Camaro, a few guys described how they made their plates from scratch.  I copied the notes.  Let me know if you want the approx. half page worth of information.  You can also go there and do a search.  I don't recall seeing any pictures of original plates.  But...

I wish I spent more time w/ the Deluxe seats I bought and immediately sold.  I was actually going to keep the plates since I knew I couldn't get them aftermarket.  BIG mistake!
