'68 Z parts/date info please

In the near future I am looking to try and source some of the hard to find engine parts for my 1968 05a Z/28. I will be looking for a Distributor,alternator,Holley and an intake. I know these items are going to be expensive..........but you have to start somewhere

What I am after is a date range for each item to suit my build date. any help would be greatly appreciated..........and info on any other dated items would also be a great help(I'm not sure what else is dated).
