With that VIN and an assembly code of V1230DZ one or both of those stamps it fake.

Not seeing the stamps and codes makes it hard to tell if they are legit, restamps, or just read wrong. Probably a built up engine with some restamped pieces.

Just for grins I did a quick calculation on the retail sum of the parts. The starting price might not be all that far off.

Yes, it's a fake!  This is the same seller everyone says to stay away from in this CRG thread...  http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=5168.0

He changes his Ebay id 2-3 times a year in an attempt to stay ahead of his restamped engines and fake OEM parts!

Also, when his Ebay id was "thegmparts", Ebay busted him & "clewwho40" for running up the price on each others listings.  You can verify this by looking at his feedback under his "thegmparts" id.  You will see all the feedback comments that were left by "clewwho40" have been removed by Ebay.  The ironic thing is, it appears they are still doing it = check their feedback under their current Ebay ids and you will see they have "purchased" several things from each other again!
