Kurt...
This thread just flat made me curious - so I headed over to search the Yenko site using the numbers you supplied from a few different angles and came up with ziltch - care to expand the info somewhat so inquiring minds can snoop?
Thx - Randy

Paul - Thanks again for the info... as it turns out I was following that particular thread for quite a while back due to my interest in original '68 Zed's - just didn't make the connection by VIN number alone until I fired up your link...
That is a great looking car, wish mine was as nice.
Any idea of what a somewhat similar car would go for these days in the US - 60k mileage - we both know what the 266's are worth but what about the whole OEM deal?
My wife is giving me no end of grief over the fact that mine got used a total of 2 tanks again this past Summer (for the 3rd year in a row) and I'm thinking maybe it's not worth all the guff defending the reasoning for keeping it considering the dust it gathers... although not as much as 5632 as pictured first in the garage...  Randy

I'm trying to figure that out myself, but for a different reason = I have two sons, but only one 1968 Rally Sport Z/28 that I don't want to cut in half!  This one didn't sell at $41,600.00...

That is a very nice car for sure and very clean and original - more so than mine in some ways... wonder if it will get relisted to try again...

Not a very good time to try and interest anyone with a car that isn't anything but perfect since any flaw or misstep with one like this for example just gives any prospective buyer another excuse to try and barter a lot more than would have been possible a couple of years ago even though it is a prime and obviously great example of the type. Maybe it just needs an SS badge in the center of the grille to go with the Z'ed badges and some second hand paperwork to get past the reserve and get some respect - Oh no that was a '69 / BJ deal wasn't it? Same colour - guess I didn't look close enough!

Maybe I'll have to wait a few more years and hope things get better - then again maybe by then the wife will get tired of nagging me and I'll get to keep driving it a couple of hundred per year until I get boxed...
