Choke Cover Paint
« on: January 21, 2010, 12:23:15 PM »
On a base engine with painted intake, was the choke cover painted or unfinished?  Also I assume the thermostat housing bolts were also painted as this was installed before the engine was sprayed, correct?

Thanks

Mike

The remote choke coil and cover was installed at the car assembly plant, and was not painted; the thermostat housing was on the engine when it was painted.

What head markings should be on the thermostat housing bolts? Is it the same for a '67?
