Replaced brand new Delco Remy VR with Wells, problem solved!  No "gen" light anymore, voltage is at 13.84.  Someone said I should shoot for 14.2, I did not rev it over 2,000. rpms. I think I saw 13.77 at idle and at 2,000 I saw 13.84.

When I first started the car 2 weeks ago it ran about 30 seconds, turned out I had a defective brand new Holley fuel pump... Boy these new parts blues can really suck.

No I have to figure out my headlight covers, coolant temp sending unit, and how toproperly adjust the rod that goes from the brake pedal to the brake master under the dash.  Will spend sometimein the search (penalty) box.

Should be driving it soon!  FINALLY

Thanks again for all your help.
