My 02A 67 has 5 N 7 on the lower edge of LHF corner

OK OK OK OK I think we have enough data to decode tank numbers. Aug 1 of production year was week 01 and Last week of July would be 52 or 53!

I disagree, the more data the better.  Especially for the '67s.    :)

My 04D LOS '67 just has:
5  D
Quite clear stamping. Used wire brush too.
 ???
1967 04D LOS Royal Plum / Parchment Deluxe interior "Jane" with some mods. Salt Lake City Zone, Dealer "0" per NCRS shipping papers.

I completely agree. Having more data can only help to educate everybody. You never know there could be exceptions to the rule/norm and we will only ever find out by continually researching.
