Gear Vendor

Would a Gear Vendor be a good option to add overdrive with out ruining the stock look or forcing me to put 3.08 highway gears back in the car?
I would like to keep a stock look. It is an origonal SS350 with a turbo 350 trans. I am running 3.73 gears for fun in town but I would still like to cruise farther distances without winding high RPM on the high way.
It is an original column shift car so I do not want to change this as there were not many made.
Any help is apprciated.

You might consider a newer auto with a lock up converter, and overdrive. Might not be as good as the gear vendors overdrive, but could be a reasonable compromise.
