Does the below information from my Cowl Tag make sense when compared to the Norwood information presented in the CRG reports?
It appears to me that the Cowl tag shows a body number that should have been produced in Late June yet the Body Build date states 4th week of July. This makes me think that the numbers are not assigned consecutevely but the CRG findings are showing a consecutive production number. These numbers also seem well outside of the limitations that were stated for the Norwood Assembly Plant.
CRG Team - Any thoughts on this?I have attached a picture of my Cowl Tag.

The numbers often appear to be disordered in relationship to either time or VIN.
67-68 Norwood Fisher Body NumbersFurther data review shows that the 1967-68 Norwood Fisher body factory used a local and purely incremental body number starting at 1 and increasing generally in order with the VIN, though usually offset from the VIN a small amount.
