Did the low fuel light come along with a particular package in 1968?
Thank for your help.

Yes, the auxilliary tach and console mounted gauge package RPO U17. The low fuel light control module is mounted inside the console gauge housing and provides a ground to the low fuel light in the dash when fuel gets down to about 2 gallons.
