I have a picture of the protectoplate from #13 that was ebay several years ago.  It was just the protectoplate from a Seattle dealer if I remember right.  The car is MIA.  I haven't looked at the photo but will look for it tonight.

Why do you think it's the first production car from LA? There were 4 cars that had body # 001.
http://www.camaros.org/bodynumbering.shtml  It was the first deluxe interior coupe.

Yours is the oldest known LA car. But NOR was the lead plant and had produced over 2000 cars by the time LA started up.

Can you post the full VIN, a photo of the cowl tag, and describe it? Sounds interesting!

That would be the first production Camaro made at the Norwood plant, and a 6 cylinder coupe.
Very cool find if it can be verified.
Can you post a VIN and trim tag picture or send them to one of the CRG members?

Why do you say it is a Joke?  Here is a pic of the VIN tag..

Well, when someone new nonchalantly announces a great find, and then goes away without any evidence it's a bit suspicious and makes people skeptacle.

But, I see you are back with a picture worth a thousand words. That's quite a find, more details please.

Yes, that is exactly what I was thinking but now it has a bit more merit.
