After reading John Z's article on the Camaro assembly process, I understand that the cars were locked in the assembly line numerically by the "sequence number". In looking at the example of a broadcast copy from Jerry M's book, I see the sequence number is 3 digits, 600 and something. Were the sequence numbers for a given day's production?, ie, reset every day at 1, and continuing up to 912 each day? Then reset the next day? I also noticed there was a box for the date on the example broadcast copy, but it was left blank.
