who knows anything about fixing an original low fuel module ?
« on: February 15, 2009, 11:05:17 PM »
when I got my xp-836  ;D ten year's ago the low fuel warning worked perfect , then about 6 or maybe 7 year's ago it stopped working , I took the gauge cluster off and put power with a jumper wire on the low fuel wire . i think it was yellow ? anyway I have a wiring diagrahm and it told me which wire , the light in the dash that read's FUEL came on so the wiring / bulb ect is good ,
now ,,,,,,,,do any of you know how these thing's work and can mine be fixed ?

Think your best bet would be to pick up a replacement module, any vendor should carry it.  Not sure if anyone repairs the originals but your best bet for that would be someone who restores gauges.
