'68 Power steering conversion
« on: February 04, 2009, 03:10:38 PM »
I recently picked up  a power steering box, pump, hoses, and brackets off a '67 Camaro and want to install on my manual steering '68. Should this simply be a bolt-in installation or are there components that differ? I know the pitman arm and steering arm are different and have aquired them new. But I'm not sure if the p/s cars used the same column as manual steering.

Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The rag joint between the column and gear box are different for manual and power steering.
