68 wheel mouldings
« on: February 02, 2009, 12:04:11 AM »
I have a '68 case coupe I am building, original 84,000 mile car, with one repaint in the eighties. Just wondering if the wheel opening mouldings were standard on all Camaro's. The first car I ever owned in the 70's was a 68' base coupe and I don'e remember it having  wheel mouldings or the rocker mouldings. I have the GM Canada documentation on the car and it doesn't have them listed as an option on the car.

Also the roof drip rail mouldings are stainless as the car was an original vinyl roof car. Did non-vinyl base coupes have this moulding as well. Thanks

Paul.
The difference is due to the R/S molding location where it meets the wheel molding. The screw holes location is a bit offset on the R/S wheel moldings.
