Here are some pictures of my 69 Camaro RS being brought back to life.  Car was last driven in 92.  Enjoy!

I would love a shop like that as well!   Its not mine ;-) either.  This is my nieghbors and the guy in the picture is the brains behind the excellent work, Tim Riel.  I stopped in today, front end is not in yet.  When it gets further along I will post more pics.  I will run a 383- 700R4 - 12 bolt with 3:73 so it will be a little more fun to drive. We are rebuilding all the original parts and keeping them on the side, 350 engine, 350 trans, and 10 bolt, steering gear, front brake rotors, etc.  Exterior and interior will remain all original as I do not want to de-value the car.  I am very lucky to have the build sheet (found on top of fuel tank), protect-o-plate, and original  MSRP as well.

Thanks,

Damon

Thanks Hakan.

68 Z, that shop is "Freds Car Barn" in Springfield, Oregon about 100 miles south of Portland near Eugene.  Contact is Tim Riel 541-915-7833.  They are a nieghbor of mine and run a lot of cars through that shop over the years.  This is my first car running through them and so far I am very impressed, excellent work.

Thanks, Damon.  I live in Beaverton and know Springfield pretty well.  I just wondered when I saw the OR plate and would be looking for the car if it was around here.  If you ever come up this way, PM me.

Update,

Engine is in, new vacuum lines for the headlights, brakes lines, etc.  The 700R4 would not accept the stock 350 crossmember or the 400 crossmember so we ordered a custom fit for the 700.  The Hedman headers touched the AC box, called them, they said to just "cut the box".  We ordered a set or Thorleys..  Wiating on them.

Car is about 90% done, still need to replace the dash and vinyl top.  I have most of the bugs worked out and it is driving great.  I love the 700R4 trans combined with the 3:73 gears.  It sure turns heads!  Enjoy and thanks for all the help CRG!
