69 Camaro License plate holders- Body Color or black?

I have a 69 camaro undergoing restoration.  Anyone know if the front and rear license plate holders were body colored or just black???

To the best of my knowledge, both were black - however, I'll defer to those that have studied this in more detail.

They were both black.  If you come across body colored ones, it is most likely due to a poor repaint sometime in the car's life.
