My '68 base 327 2bbl Powerglide, manual drum brake car has finned front drums, nonfinned rear drums.

It's a LOS car, built in June 1968.

Have 68 327 2bbl front smooth original owner 06b car 68. Had 396 that had finned drum brakes 11d 68. Was under impression that ss car's had finned other's had smooth. Not positive but hope this helps. Also use to have a 67 & 68 327 2bl car's both had smooth front drum's.

qwertyme77 - what was the builddate of your car? By air, you mean AC, right?

T-Bone - AC on your car? What's the complete build date?

kcracing - do you know what engine originally was in your car?

Thanks guys!

1968 Norwood-built, 04A, 6 cylinder, manual brakes, no fins front or rear. I am the second owner and have owned the car since 1988 so I know the drums are the originals.

The car I referred to early on was an ss 350.  I don't have any of the data on it but I do have a bad picture of the cowl tag.  Did I send that to you before to try and read it?
