what is reasonable value for this 1969 project
« on: April 24, 2008, 03:59:54 PM »
I need to get a reasonable range of value for this car as I will be looking to sell soon.

It was produced before the x designation was used on the body plate ID: Sept 1968 Model code 12437 NOR body sequence 103928
Interior trim code: 711 Frost Green Blk Vinyl top

It has a Muncie 4 speed, not the rock crusher, Hurst shifter transmission #3925660 It does not appear to have had a spoiler. It has 4 wheel disk brakes, dual exhaust, seats, 5 leaf spring, 12 bolt rear end. I think it is a SS car, don't know about being a Z28 or not. The engine is small block I think. The hood has twin vent stacks either side of centerline. Condition: Front and engine compartment area was removed of most items, except for the front frame & wheels. Gauges off, dash taken down to skeleton. It has door panels, back glass, one side glass other may be inside door. Vinyl top is in good condition. No rust around back glass/trunk area. Floor panels are gone unsure about trunk floor as it is full as is the interior and the doors haven't been opened.
It been dismantled somewhat and I find some things as I go through the garage, engine, hood, transmission. The body back of the firewall is on the car.

I could use some guidance for pricing. Also, I have some pics. Thank you

ddc -

If you post some photos it would help in determining a value.

Thanks, Tom! Just learned something!  I've been told all this time you could not post a photo from Quick Reply.  But using preview, it gives you the same options as Reply.  Thanks!

It would a lot easier to email them to me and I will upload them to my webshots account so they can be posted right here.
