69 Washer Reservoir
« on: March 01, 2008, 01:09:33 AM »
Could someone please post a photo of the correct location for a non-RS windshield washer reservoir.   Someone mounted the reservoir on my 69 Z28 similar to an RS.  I have the assembly manual, but I couldn’t find the non-RS location. Is there a chance it could have left the Van Nuys plant that way.

Hey - thanks so much John, a picture is worth a thousand words.  I was wondering how it fit around the relay switch, now I have to deal with the 3 holes in the passenger side fender skirt.

Ok, I'm having trouble mounting the bracket due to the wires.  The wiring harness in the <above>picture goes above the bracket, on mine that harness is fastened into the core support.  Do I just kind smash it in there trying no to bind the wires or what?

I may be nuts but I could swear mine is attached to the fender support.

The wire harness goes above the braket... there is a clip that pushes into the rad support... you can see it as the light colored clip just to the left of the Voltage Regulator...

I saw that clip you were mentioning and it is attached in a way that is blocking the bracket.  Should I remove it and move the wires?

IF the clip is in the wrong place on the rad support then you are going to have to move it to the right one in order to correctly install the reservoir bracket...
