69 Bright Quarter Panel Moldings
« on: January 14, 2008, 05:17:08 PM »
Did all SS 396's in 1969 come with the bright quarter panel moldings ? The data on X codes at CRG seems to indicate so.  Thanks.

All 396's came with the quarter gills (X66&X22), however X22 received the fender and quarter molding as well as other bright work.

Thanks for the replies.
I should have waited just a few hours to ask the question as I just got "The Conclusive Camaro Recognition Guide" by John R. Hooper in the mail late today. I didn't realize how much detail was in the book. Page 20 shows that with the Z21, Z22 or any Super Sport package the 69 came with the quarter panel moldings.
