Where there any other suppliers for Red Line tires in 69 besides Goodyear ?

If I remember correctly Uniroyal made a redline. I believe it was the Tiger Paw.

These red line Tiger Paws came on my 06A 68 too. If I remember right I got about 20-25K miles out of them.

That was pretty good mileage for a set of tires back then. The way I used to drive tires were not around very long.

I could check my records. I did put them through a run or two
but as I recall they did hold up fairly well. I recall my dad telling me that I would be responsible for buying any new ones........that provided some motivation for taking care of them.

Wasn't that the universal rule? If you leave the rubber on the street, then you buy it...
And nylon tires ride like a rock in the winter --like John said until you ride on them and get them warm...
