Hi,
I have a car we bought for my wife last fall that I'm hoping to start restoring soon which is either a Norwood 06C 67 RS/SS Convertible or a possible 67 RS (L30M20, 327/275 HP) as the car was pretty cut up on the firewall for drag racing from 1971 to 1982 or so and although it has the 1" hole toward the center where the muncie speedo cable should be, the hole for console guages, and a 12-bolt I'm looking for more identification items. The tire pressure sticker on the glove box is somewhat ledgible and has an "H" in the chevy emblem. Since its an H I know this is what the SS350's recieved for a tire pressure sticker as the regular RS's and L30M20 would have a "G".
Could an L30M20 RS in 67 be ordered with the larger tires and have the "H" tire pressure sticker detail?
The 3rd owner back, who got the car back in 71 said it was all apart, but came with a 350 295 HP, center console with gauges, manual drum brakes, was irmine white, deluxe blue interior and with a blue top. The gentlemen doesn't recall for sure if it was an RS or RS/SS as the emblems were gone and he doesn't recall if it had the bumblebee stip and painted it shortly therafter when he turned it into a IHRA Formula Stock car that set record back in the 70's.
Anyone have all the data on the tire pressure stickers and what the L30M20 vs. SS350's could have been ordered with? Could a L30M20 (#27/275 HP) have had the H sticker or is the car a L48 SS350?
Thanks!
