Help to verify 1968 z28
« on: February 20, 2025, 03:24:35 AM »
Looking at a car and trying to verify the dreaded 68 z28. It has all the easy stuff, doesn’t have a tach (I thought they all had tachs). Does have 4 piston brakes, 12 bolt, M21.

Currently has 350 block, will all the 302 items attached. Heads, W intake, etc. Also, has CE 302 short block that is out of the car.

Does this help, it’s not exactly a protecto plate, but an imprint.

Based on the documents you posted, it appears to be a Z28.

Nice. Did you get a picture of the trim tag? I'd like to see that also please. I would also say yes on it's a Z/28. Tach & gauges was an option, so if you didn't order them, you didn't get them. Looks like a February car.....Joe

It would have 15 inch on the tire pressure decal in the glovebox.
