I am looking at the Factory Assembly Manual and can't figure this out.  Does a 1969 RS/SS with hide away headlights still use a coffee can type canister for the vacuum tank on the firewall for the AC/Heat vacuum operation?  Or do you tie into the RS Vacuum Tank?

The "Coffee can" is for ac only. The tank at the left front is for the headlights.
Both are independently plumbed for their specific operation
There SS has no association with either.
