Don't know the car. Seller is not at all knowledgeable, but does at least SEEM to be transparent. I told him the WS was a fake.
Early on he stated the WS was "1000 percent" legit and correct. William pointed out a bunch of errors. Pic of WS is now gone.
Has been asked for a BUNCH of pics, but EITHER he does not know what they are asking, or he is being evasive.
Unless it has been posted recently, he has not posted the engine pad assembly stamp. Also, still needs pic of the casting date to make sure it lines up.
Biggest problem with on line auction cars, is that one rarely has a chance to go inspect the car. Biggest problem with BAT is the morons who think they know all about first gen Camaros, and then post resentful comments about those of us who point out real problems. My screen name there is Camarolynn. In reference to a 69 Z/28, a guy recently posted "let’s all hear it for @camarolynn he read a book about camaros!!!" That's what I get for trying to be helpful. Funny thing is the guy spent $1300 having someone inspect the vehicle (he didn't buy it) and he still couldn't say what the casting date on the block was. He was present during the inspection, so he obviously doesn't know enough to verify these things himself. He claimed all the numbers "lined up" except the fake engine stamp, even thought the trans was out of a 1965 model year car. I probably forgot more about first gens than he will ever know; and I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable guy on first gens. But I did buy my first Z/28 in 1971, and still have the one I bought in 1976.

Even though the car is 2000 miles away, Sherri and I are going to lay eyes on it right after New Years. I believe the seller to be honest and transparent, but still, it only makes sense to go inspect in person.
