1969 Steering Wheel Hub

Wondering if anyone knows what I need and where to get a steering wheel hub for the standard steering wheel. I just switched from an NK1 back to a standard wheel but now I have a big gap between the wheel and column. Looking at other cars with standard wheel it seems I’m missing what looks like a hub to fill the gap. Here’s a pic to show what I’m looking for on another car. Thanks in advance

Standard wheels used no hub. Just wheel to column.

Thanks, wasn’t sure if it was missing but as it stands I think my column needs a rebuild for other reasons besides the gap, thanks again for the info
