Great find and interesting read!
I have a '68 396 SS/RS Norwood car with a 09C build date. I bought it from the original owner in '86 with the POP and all service and registration documentation, but didn't get the original bill of sale or window sticker.

Odd to see stainless trim on the turn signal lens on a 5A build as they were discontinued during early production and not seen after January/early February 69 builds. The seat belts (5th week of 69) are also early dates for a May build.

If I'm correct based off this link http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8327.0 my car was involved in the VN strike that started in April and ended mid June of 1969. If that link is correct and the plant was only reopened to clear the last 1200 Camaros, then my car would of have in that list. My guess is they used what they had to clear the line at that time which might be why my belts differ.

Bought this 69 Z28 RS in 1993. Just finished total nut and bolt restoration on this original two tone dusk blue/glacier blue Z28.
Wanted to post some pictures as I haven't seen or heard of any other two tone 51/53 paint codes on any Camaro.
Let me know what you think and would like to confirm the rarity of the car. Was sold in Prince George, BC, now living in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
