DZ block for 19N561327 (I think that's the VIN) on FB in PA

I don't know if this is a legit stamping or not but I saw this listed today on FB Marketplace in PA.  It looks like 19N561327 but it probably needs more eyes to look at the picture to make sure.

It was just listed yesterday and sold already, block, crank (didn't say if 1178), .060 pistons, rods, 462 heads.  The guy who listed it was Donn Eskey in Leesport PA if someone needed to contact him in the future since the ad will probably disappear soon.

I was lucky enough to be the one who got it…

It was freshly bored 060. Damage mentioned was very minimal, a 1/4” chunk taken out of the bottom of a cylinder from a rod that went south at some point in its past.  386 block, VIN is 561327 as noted.

 Crank was a std/std 1178, nice set of used 060 TRW 2210’s, but had small journal rods hung on them, so I’ll need to replace those. Heads were wrong as well.  I will source the rest of the correctly dated parts that I don’t already have in my inventory and put this thing together , then tuck it into a corner for a rainy day.

Tough to find a real one anymore. Especially at a decent price.

No, he had no history of the car. He got the engine from a friend of his, they were both circle track racers back in the day and apparently they used the high revving 302’s pretty regularly.

Cool, so if someone does happen to have the car they will still have a chance to find the motor.  I think there was a DZ motor along the Jersey shore that was used in a Jersey Speed Skiff that pops up for sale once in a while.  The asking price on that one was pretty high if I remember correctly.
