Info on how many 767 - H bench seat cars built with a BB and 4spd

Hello members, over the weekend I came across an original 1967 SS 396 325hp 4sp car. So I approached the owner after talking to the owner and inspecting this beautifully restored Granada Gold with Black vinyl top car I noticed on the trim tag 767-H denoting it to be a black deluxe interior car with the rare bench seat with no headrest, so I pointed it out to the owner as it presently has front buckets seats and console about the bench seat and it turns out that he has store the bench seat which according to the owner is in very good form.
Now I am very curious to see how many of the 6583 bench seat cars built in 1967 came with a 396 and 4sp.

No way to tell.

GM didn’t keep records of cars that way. They did by each option, but not multiple options.

1453 cars in 1967 received the L35/M40 combination but no breakdown by column versus floor shift as far as we can tell.

I understand. The op wanted info on 396 bench seat 4 speed. Mine was an auto on the column. Just wondered if that mattered, apparently not.

Sorry if I came across that way, yes your column auto 396 with bench is also unusual and special. I was asked by the owner if there was any knowledge on those options hens my question. I for one have never seen a 396 be it  column auto of floor shifted auto/manual with a bench seat, I have seen Nova's and Chevelle's but never a Camaro.  Thanks to Byron 1453 TH400  cars built and CRG quote 4003 L35 cars built in 67 as Byron has pointed out there is no way of knowing how many of either cars were made.

For combinations of options, GM just did not keep track of records that way.

for 1967 -we know how many M40 (TH400) cars were produced with the 396, because the M40 was only available with the 396 in 1967.  We can figure out how many were 4 speeds by taking the total number of L35 cars - 4003 and subtracting the automatic transmission cars (1453).  So 2550 cars got the L35 with a 4 speed. There was no breakdown by seat type.

All L78 Camaros were 4 speeds in 1967 but again no breakdown of seat type.

It's not that we don't want to give people information, it just is not possible.

Some more info:
1967: 5,141 cars were produced with a 396: 1,138 of those were L78’s: 3,625 of the 5,141  were 4-speeds.

I know of one 67 L78 car with a bench seat. Phil’s black car.
