Caveat Emptor...a mess
« on: June 11, 2023, 10:28:31 PM »
https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/listing/1969-chevrolet-camaro-morgantown-pa-2686071

124379N599281

VIN tag is home-made so who knows. Assuming the VIN is correct and matches the con VIN stampings, translates to a final assembly date on or about February 17, 1969. Car has an 09D body tag, fourth week September 1969.

VIN tag is not original to the car; high likelihood body tag also is not. Hidden VINs may not match.

No.

A September 1968 tag would be the smaller version.

That's a lot of money for that car! Can't understand how someone can spend a lot of time and money and at least they should sweet the details. My pet peeve is the SB transmission cross-member.  :o

love the flex hose on a $120K car! Nice touch but new owner should not have to worry about that very long with the starter wire touching the header. Car will be burnt to the ground shortly....

Unbelievable.  The flippers and dealers have done a lot of damage to "the hobby" with their greed.
