1969 D90 fender stripe gap
« on: March 15, 2023, 05:33:21 PM »
Did the 1969 SS D90 stripe always have a gap where the engine call out emblem would be on the fender? And this gap in the stripe would be where engine CI is located? A stripe with no gap and the emblem on top of the stripe would be incorrect?

Thanks!! I did see that on CRG. I just wanted to make sure there were no anomalies with the stripe before I go attempting to fix mine.

I always liked the Detail of the taper of the front pin stripe.

There are two styles of D90.

Early stripe extends about 1" onto fender extension. As of about 2nd week November '68, terminates at the fender extension.
