This is my German 1967 Camaro. It is an enigma wrapped in a contradiction.
1. There isn’t the American style VIN on the door frame which isn’t uncommon for European cars.
2. It is a 4P car which in this case meant an L30/M20 car. 327hp with 4bbl, 4 speed, and 12 bolt rear with single traction bar.
3. It has the 200kph speedometer with Deluxe interior and console gauges
4. The body was originally from Norwood Ohio. The original engine on the German papers is a KL Engine which should be an impala 327.
The car was restored as an SS because of the 4P on the trim tag but it was actually an L30/M20. It spent its life as a race car so when I got it in 1986 it was basically a shell full of dreams.
5. There are front marker lamps. These were not on the American 1967 Camaro
