Heater core
« on: November 12, 2022, 02:23:02 AM »
The 67/8 396 with ac heater core. The heater core is shot. Every vendor lists “without ac”, but nothing with. Are the with and without ac the same?

Take it to a radiator shop. They can re-core them. it will be better than what's out there today...Joe

See my reply to you on the TC site. Yes, they're different. HERE YOU GO, or save two bucks and shipping charges from EBAY.

Edit: After a search found it ON SALE for you! (Ignore the lack of 396 listing. P/N 3009917 was used on all engines.

I had my non-AC re-cored at a local shop for about $100. I went that route so as to keep the original tanks w/date codes

Best way to go in my opinion.
