Smog Exhaust Manifold question 67 SS LOS

I'm trying to piece together all the smog parts for my NOV 66 build SS and I'm having issues identifying the correct exhaust manifolds. NCRS report says the car was first sold in CA at Mel Smith Chevrolet in San Luis Obispo. So everything indicates it was an RPO K19 car.

Are these manifolds correct? I look at a couple of sites and I believe they are but not a 100% on them. This is a Flint MV motor.

Likewise the dates appear to be OCT 10th and 12th of 66. I assume these would be good dates for an 11B car.

The pump I'm looking at is a 96132 dated 21662C.

Those are the correct casting numbers but they should be dated around the same time as your engine assembly date, not the cars assembly date.

That smog pump (which was installed on the engine dress line) is dated August 4th, 1966 so while it's within the "6 month" accepted time, IMO, it's too early for your car. However, for an L48 you need a 5696468 pump. The 5696132 is a Corvette pump.

The motor is VIII4MV so they are about a month apart.

Ed, that brings up another question. Was it both the VIN and the engine ID numbers stamped on the engine at the same time? Or was it the engine ID at one time and  the VIN when it was mated to the car?

You might have a tough time finding the smog tubes for the exhaust manifolds.  I don't believe they are being reproduced any longer.  There was recently a repop set on eBay for crazy money.

Are you planning to have the pump operational, or just for appearance and the tube inlets plugged off?

The manifolds I bought actually have the tubes and check valves still on them.

Engine code was stamped at Flint or Tonawanda when the engine was built (assembly code). Partial VIN was stamped at Norwood or Van Nuys when the car was assembled, both on the engine and trans.
