Control Arm & Parts Finishes
« on: May 06, 2021, 10:56:23 PM »
For '67-69...

Upper Control Arm- Painted with shaft attached? (ball joint installed afterwards)
Lower Control Arm- Painted prior to installing ball joint and bushings?

Dipped in black paint or sprayed?

Thanks!

Dipped -
Upper - cross shaft and bushings, washers, and bolts installed prior to painting. Ball joint after.
Lower - I am not sure about the bushings however the balljoint was after paint.

Lower Control Arm bushings were also installed after paint (dipping). Below is a photo of an original 10C built Norwood 1969 Z/28 with unpainted LCA bushings.
