Great stuff! I also was surprised that not all of them were stripped down models. I'm confused about the line quoted above. It appears they were not give away cars, but some other type of promotion? Sorry if I missed that in another part of the thread.

I also wondered what that line in the article meant.  None of the Chevrolet dealers promoted that part of the "promotion" in their ads so I'm wondering if that portion got the ax??  Has anyone seen a 1967 Camaro built at Norwood with a personalized name plate?
