The owner states it is a SS car, but I'm not familiar with COPO , since I've never owned one nor seen one in person.

If the car is a COPO car does it really mean much? I mean I know 1969 cars are rare but what is a 1968 COPO car if it's not documented?

He states it now has 454 was originally a 427 has a turbo 400 and a 12 bolt 4.10 gear. He is now posting to sell the car. I'm not part of him selling it, I was only looking at the odd cowl tag

If you can get the VIN - run it through NCRS and determine the selling dealer.

Might check Super Car registry with vin # looks like possibly could be a Yenko! They have all the 68 yenko vin numbers on there sight. Think yenko only had 140 speed speedometer plus trim tag was odd like one you are showing. Be cool if it was.
